I picked up a huge dragonfly as a kid.. Thought it was dead, but clearly not... T-T Have had problems with them ever since...
+ the larvae of dragonflies are even more creepy x-x

Some of the dragonflies have to be damsels at least, since the main purpose of the flying form of a dragonfly is to make sure there'll be more dragonflies ;__;
Other than that most kinds are in the larval stage for years, and in the adult only for a few hours, days or months x-x
That's why some people suggest that the real form of the dragonfly is really the larva x-x
Still doesn't make them less creepy tho >_>

@Chez. I know right?  The boot of my car has beach equipment in it so being stuffed in that wouldn't be scary and the bush nearby has lots of lovely native flowers and brightly coloured birds.
