It's a little like how it can be with my brother..
One moment you're talking about for example the weather, and then he'll go "Oh, that reminds me of something that happened in my last LoL-game.."
or "Speaking of the weather, in my last LoL-game..."
I don't even play LoL or know too much about it to be able to have a decent conversation about it, but still 99% of all time spent talking with him is about that x-x

It doesn't really matter what I do, it still somehow always ends up switching back to there, and any tiny hint of knowledge or interest on my part, like "Oh, and did you know that Serana from Skyrim and Akali from LoL have the same voice actress?" it just makes things worse x-x

These days I live pretty far away from the rest of my family so I don't have to go through it all that often anymore tho..
But it would be fun to be able to at least have a somewhat normal and meaningful conversation with him when I'm actually visiting :P
