aspen walks on to the ship as ranel is browsing the black market "mister ranel? why does that woman have a price under her picture?"

*Ranel quickly looks behind him and stands up- driving her out of the ship*
"I-uh...I dont know, dear. Can you please wait outside for a few moments? I need to handle some things, okay?"

her wings and ears droop sadly as she picks up on your intentions "i didn't escape in the only pod you know, i was just the only one who knew that the other ship had ill intentions, they would not listen when i warned them, there were 99,999 pods left, but i was the only one who ran before it was too late, just thought you should know before you sell me" she kicks off the ground, crying, and spreads her wings with a sound like breaking bones and ripping sheets as she flies off with no particular decision as to where she is headed, moments later a sonic boom is heard and she is gone, already miles away.

*Ranel frowns, quickly running in his, stolen, advanced ship- yelling at the computer as he sits in the pilot chair*
"Computer follow that girl, and make sure you capture her alive!
Affirmative, please place your paw whom touched her shoulder into the scanner for a narrow search of the planet.
-To himself- ..Oh damn...more advanced then I though...-  Uhh, here it goes. *Places paw*
"Scanning....complete, starting up high-speed atmosphere engines- tracking.... found. Setting course."
*Ranel initiates several procedures to speed it up, and he blasts off into the same direction as she did*

aspen lands, somewhere in the mountians, she finds a cave and sits in the dark, weeping heavily
"why?"

Suirrel hears a sonic boom, but ignores it.
He aims and fires his stungun at the creature holding Warren.


If that does not help, he can always use real fire power.


Suirrel grins slightly, thinking to himself:
At least I have a 'multi-tool' gun.

*Ranel's ship stops in the mountain area*
"Scan for life, warmth, anything that can find her.
searching....found. Cave- located, locking- fire?
No! Beam me there, I need to talk."
*The ship's AI beams him in the entrance of the cave as it hovers nearby*
"...Aspen...?"

aspen sobs heavily, she sings to herself deep in the cave a strange haunting melody reverberates off the walls of the cave, the song full of infectious emotions, the song seems to breathe with a life of it's own, it feels...happy, but  underneath that is a sadness with unfathomable  depth, then all at once the song drops into despair  the wavering note seeming to sob in and of itself, she hears ranel and stops singing, though the sound is gone, the emotion remains, hanging in the air, making you feel as if you are drowning in sorrow, her only response to his presence is to curl up and wrap her wings around herself protectively.

*Ranel gulps down, and walks deeper into the cave*
"Look....Im not going to sell you.  The black market usually has more info then such chip....Just believe me..."
*He has a hard time not feeling like the emotions in the air*

Now, where the heck did Ranel and Aspen go??? In the whole Suirrel-disapairing-mess, Ranels spaceship had disappeared, together with Aspen.
"AI, was there any ship movement in the area in the past hour?"
/Yes sir. Three Spacecontainerships have landed near the planet's main spaceport. Also, the ship in which the individual 'Ranel' arrived has made a sudden flight to the more mountainous area south of your position. A beaming has been sighted./
What the heck is he doing there? "Thanks AI. Any other specific details?"
/Nothing except that I am still searching the databases for an answer to the question you asked earlier. And, oh yes, a winged individual has been sighted flying towards the south, towards the mountain ridge, a few minutes before 'Ranel''s spaceship./
A sudden sense of dread overtakes Blizzard. "By the Gods! Something is going on up there! Did Ranel find something about Aspen? Something important? I must find them!!!"
Blizzard runs off towards the mountains.

aspen speaks quietly "but if you look for information about me, they might become interested me" she gazes at you with a fiercely intense gaze of mixed sorrow and determination "i want you to promise me, mister ranel, that no matter what is offered, you will not enslave me" back at the ship a message from an unknown merchant pops onto the screen, the subject line is marked -trade her for your own planet?-

*Ranel looks at the figure in the dark- and his ship's AI talks to him*
"There is a merchant offering a planet for her. Accept or Deny?
I...*He hesitates at the thought of an entire planet for his own* ..I....Ugh. What am I doing. I promise you, now, get out off this cave.
Computer, deny and ready weapons.
Affirmative, readying....Readied. All systems ready for go."

aspen follows him silently, wings folded over her chest, shivering a bit from being half naked and high up in the mountains.
