Any Guitar Players here?

Let's hear it!  How long have you played, what kind of guitar do you have, what kind of Amp/Rig do you have--if you play electrics, what do you enjoy playing, and could you see yourself in a band someday--if you aren't already in one?   


For me, I've played for 3 years, I have a Jackson Rhoads--love that thing.  I have 2 Peavey Amps, one solid state, one tube, along with a Digitech DF-7 Distortion pedal--I get a pretty kick ass tone between the pedal and the amps.  I mostly enjoy playing 80's Hard Rock.  I actually just played "Bark at the Moon" by Ozzy Osbourne, at a recital, ANND if I ever find a band, I do hope to at least get our music out there.  Whether or not we "get big", is a whole different story.  Haha

--and yes.  There was some incentive as to why I played "Bark at the Moon"

I was in a band, drummer broke us up, now I'm in a band with the other guitarist from my last band and we plan to be epic and stuff.

I've got 2 guitars: a Gibson SD and a Dean Razorback 7 (7 string).

I've played for about 3½ years and I'm mainly self thought along with having looked up some online basics tutorials on the internet. Most songs and riffs I know I've learned from looking up tabs however, yet some are still by ear.

I'm wanting to learn some epic solo stuff, but I still prove to be much better at simpler riffs and rhythm. I play mostly metal but have started to get a bigger interest in lullabies and ballads. I've written 2 nice melodies myself.

As for amps and rig I've got a nice cheap, yet rather nicely sounding, tube amp, the Vox da5. I also have a Behringer V-amp3 and a Boss BF-3 flanger pedal.

I play more for the fun of it, as a smaller hobby, and can't really see myself in a band.

I am in a new band that plays metal.


I have a Dean Edge 09 Custom Zone that is HOT PINK running in a Behringer Ultrabass 1800 combo.
My other bass is a Ltd F-104 with the powered EMG's running the same amp.
The guitar is an AXL Clutch screaming through a metaled out Fender Mustang with the 60watts.
My drums are a ludwig/slingerland mix four piece.


I have been in ALOT of bands and can play all of those instruments very well. My calling may be Drums(Where I got my start), but I am currently singing(and screaming) while playing lead in A Dozen Dead Friends.


Get our signatures now, because we're going to be furfamous. I believe it and I've been in alot of bands and have never seen this much potential in a new band that I started.
