Blinded In Chains

((Fun fact: shatter proof glass does shatter, but into thousands of  smaller, less harmful pieces of glass. Though it shatters, it does not actually fragment, but stays with the other pieces of glass in the frame and will require another good smash before giving way ))

(Oh no... it shattered and broke into tiny little pieces when he basically dropkicked it in mid air. )

He heard a thump again, and then a few words, and they were close, and he smiled," You okay Kitane?" He rammed into a door and burst through it, running out into a floor of the building that looks at though it hasn't been finished. It is all open, and there are pipes going from the celing and into the floor. He walked out to the edge, and stopped when he saw the same shadow that attacked him before,"I'm here..."

She smiled again and walked up to him, her voice whispered, but she was talking regularly,"I can see that... are you alone?" He looked at her and smiled slightly,"yeah... What happened to you Huki..." she Stopped when he said her name,"that isn't my name anymore... My name is kyra.... and you aren't gonna leave me again...." He smiled and started to take a few steps back, and he turned around, to see another one of her. He turned back to her,"I'm gonna have to... I can't be with you anymore.... your not here..." He looked around and he saw that he was surrounded by multiples of her, and their numbers were growing close to the hundreds by the minute. he looked at her and smiled slightly and drew his sword,"don't make me do this..." She smiled and stood right in front of him, hugging him, and he hugged her back. He sighed and then stiffened as he felt a cold pair of hands go into his back and the coldness spread from his back and tried to consume him. He looked at his paws and he noticed that he was turning into a dark shadow.

He grunted and tried to push it back , and succeeded, pushing her away from him and swung his sword making her disappear. that was when all hell broke lose. he got attacked by all sides, and he tried to hold his own, but they kept coming.

Warren poured himself some tea, jeff could be seen watching lokyar, obviously in amazement as the shrill screams were still echoing throughout the house.

[Kitane Blackfyre]

Kitane makes it to where Atticus was, but remains hidden. Until she saw that he wasn't able to hold his own for now. Having some experience with shadows, she jumps into the midst of it all, using a flaring light that's she'd artificially made through alchemy. "Hate to do this, but looks like I don't have a choice." She says, smiling over her shoulder at Atticus. "Allow me to help you, since I have been touched by such darkness before and I know what to do." She says, noticing the shadow moving away from the artificial made light. She drops it because it was starting to burn her paw since she'd had it blessed, even though she wasn't religious.

Atticus was sweating and his sword was getting heavy, he threw it into a shadows head and  smiled,"thanks..." He began to use his paws and smiled, but then he grunted as he got punched in the stomach, and kneed in the head. He flipped over, and kicked the shadow in the chin, sending them flying. His eyes turned black for a few seconds, but when he blinked, they went back to normal. He grinned and continued to drop shadows left and right.

Warren put the tea bag in the bin and added milk
"I wonder where Atticus was going" he thought to himself before noticing Kitane was gone from the sofa
"Huh" he said to himself, taking a sip from his tea.

[Kitane Blackfyre]

She groans slightly, feeling the pain from her possibly broken arm, but manages to draw her sword from its sheath. "Mudvayne, lend me your strength." She mumbles, just loud enough for anyone to hear. Using both of her paws, she brings her sword down onto one of the shadows, slicing it in half. Before it can multiply, she throws it into the light, watching as it bursts into flames and screech as it dies.

"Ahh I forgot the sugar" warren thought going back to the kitchen

Atticus finishes off the last few, leaving only one left. he stops kitane and walks up to the last one,"why..." She looks up at him and smiles," It's too late... your one of us now..." Atticus froze,staring at her, She smiles and stands up, quickly showing her hand into his chest, though no blood is coming out. atticus grabs her hand as he starts to see darkness flow around him. His neck muscles bulge as he tries to keep it at bay.

[Kitane Blackfyre]

Watching in complete horror, she picks up the artificial light even if it does burn her, she doesn't care. She lurches forward, slamming the light into the back of the shadow, and pulling her away. Kitane hisses, shoving the light farther into the shadow being, feeling the skin starting to burn from her paw, but watching as the thing screeches. "I will not allow you to harm him!" She growls and the light glows with more intensity. The being screeches as it starts to bubble. Finally, after long moments of hearing its agonizing cries, it bursts into shadow splatter. Kitane drops the artificial light, her paw covered in third degree burns, and she drops to her knees. She winces as pain flares through her whole left side, feeling the strength she borrowed fading.

Warren found the sugar and added it before tasting it

Atticus stared in horror as he listened to the last shadow of huki disintegrate. He stumbled and walked over to kitane and smiled,*waise heill* his palm glowing and her hand completely healed, he laid down next to his and put his arms under his head and smiled,"thanks.... I really mean it..."

"Hmm" warren thought as another scream was heard
"I could really do with a biscuit"
He took a sip of his tea and set it down before searching through the kitchen
"Must be a biscuit somewhere" he said to himself

She smiles slightly and grips her left arm. It was just dislocated, nothing she couldn't fix. That still didn't stop the pain from flaring through it though. She ignores it to the best she can and sits next to him. "I'm just glad I could help." She smiles. "Only, I wish I didn't have to shadow you most of the way here." She giggles slightly.

Warren eventually found an empty packet of chocolate creams "hmm" he hummed to himself with discontent before continuing to another cupboard to find a rat which promptly attacked his face before running off into a dark corner
"Ahhg" warren yelped, rubbing his nose, going back to his tea to take another sip.
