Blinded In Chains

He looks at her, and then the coffee, and he smiles slighty, grabing the cup she offered him,"Thanks..." he dodn't respon to what she said, because in truth, he was thinking about her, and about how they all were gonna get out of the situation that they are all in. He looked down and smiled slightly, shaking his head as if an inside joke was told.

Nodding, she pats him on the shoulder and stands. "You're welcome." She says. Walking over to the window-wall, she stares out over the trees and out at the city. Thinking about something, she quickly runs back down the hall, the buckles on her boots making quite a bit of noise. Stopping at the closet at the end of the hall, she pulls open the door, finding much of the old clothes from when her brother was still alive. Guessing heights, she pulls the street clothes from the closet and hangs them one the door knobs. She quickly makes her way back to the living room and sighs, standing just before the bar.

He raises an eyebrow at her and smiles,"What did you do that for? Just for fun? Hehe..." he stood up and walked over to her an stod next to her, handing her back her coffee,"I'll make my own, you have your own." he smiled slightly and poured his own cup and smiled again, but this time it was somewhat of a sad smile.

"That," She pauses, "Was me doing something for all of you." She says, smiling slightly. She notices the sadness in his smile, but says nothing and keeps her ears alert. She takes a drink of the coffee and puts it down, licking any of the extra that'd gotten on her whiskers off. Twitching the spaded ends of her tails, she stretches and crosses her arms, leaning against the bar counter.

He smiles," Well thankyou very much. I appreciate it." he looked up at her and he looked back down," I'm sorry for you pushing yourself to catch me. because if it wasn't for me running, you wouldn't have gotten hurt." he looked at her and smiled slightly.

"Oh that? It's no problem.~" She says, startled slightly. "Like I said before, I'd have still chased after you. It didn't matter if I was injured or not. Plus, my injuries weren't your fault." She explained, hinting slightly at her stubbornness. "If I'd have said the right words to open the right gate, then I probably wouldn't have been injured in the first place." She says, offering him a slight smile. "So, it's quite all right." She says, taking another drink of her coffee.

"That was partially my fault too," Zephyr said, walking into the room in his street clothes... which pretty much meant he exchanged his cloak for a grey and black striped hoodie. "I closed a gate that she opened because it was a goblin portal, but she probably got some backlash from the sudden closing of said gate." He looked at Kitane. "Is that correct?"

He finished his coffee and smiled slightly," i still feel bad though..."

"Yeah, you nailed it on the head, Zephyr." She sighs, putting the coffee mug down. "Don't, though." She says, putting a paw on Atticus' shoulder. "Plus, if anything happens like it had yesterday, you have the stuff I gave you to hold onto for me." She says, stretching slightly.

He smiled slightly when she put a paw on hisshoulder, putting the mug down, he looked at her,"Okay... I'll try not to, but no promises... Hehe..." he put his paw ontop of hers and smiled,"so... Any plans for how we are gonna deal with the snipers anD the guys chasing aftre us?"

"I could call the agency and ask them to send some backup," Zephyr said. "Specific backup... I only trust a few people there, and considering that you're part vampire, Kitane, bringing in anyone but my closest allies would be a terrible idea. And sorry that I caused you injury last night."

Putting a paw to her lip in thought, she shrugs slightly. "For now, we just stay here until many questions have been answered." She says, glancing over at Moby. "Though, if anyone decides to show, they'll get a mouthful of sharpened gears and bullets." She says, grinning slightly at the thought. "Oh, one thing I forgot to mention. Under the house, there's a place where you can hone your skills with whatever type of class you are." She says after snapping her fingers. Looking to Zephyr, she shakes her head. "Trust me, anyone else coming here wold probably mean their death, aside from those of us. And don't mention it, it's fine." She says, twitching her tails slightly.

"Alright," he said. "But... they ARE hunters. They're pretty powerful. Oh, and one of them's the Frankenstein Monster. But ok, sure thing, no other people." He thinks. "Hmm... I suppose I could use the weapon gauntlets... they haven't really been tested yet, but I looked over the designs, and they should work."

Warren walks into the kitchen where Moby is cooking away
"i hope you don't mind me helping you cook breakfast"
warren grabs an apron
"one of the few talents that my mother passed down to me, besides, you look tired"
warren turned to everyone else, his shyness and feeling of intimidation removed entirely
"how is everyone this morning?" he said with a smile

Atticus smiled slightly when he saw her tails twitch, and he looked at Warren, and smiled slightly,"better than i was a few seconds ago, thanks for asking... What about you?"
