Blinded In Chains

[Kitane Blackfyre]

Kitane's eyes widen and she nearly starts to panic. She takes in a deep breath and regains her sense of composure. "Aah, right. I was in the middle of taking us further underground." She mumbles. Sighing a little, she turns to the wall behind her. "I lost my concentration when we moved in the chaos." She says.

[Cifero Windtail]

Suddenly, the cloaked figure popped up behind Kitane. "I can help you with that."

[Jyynx]

Moby looks at Kitane, a little concerned, and speaks softly do no one else can hear
"if at all it helps, I have not forgotten your story... I have a few... Sources I can come into contact with and see if I can come up with anything on who did this to you, but... Nah my assumptions have to be wrong"
He pulls out an iPhone and begins to tap on it
" do you have any markings that appeared after the incident?" he asks, still speaking softly

Fire flares up in her paw and she whirls around, slamming the cloaked figure on the ground, her eyes glowing a deathly silver and a snarl on her muzzle. "Don't. Stand. Behind. Me." She growls, having slight trust issues with people behind her. Getting up, she clenches her paw and the fire fizzes out. A sigh escapes from her muzzle as she pulls back her sleeve to reveal an ancient vine-like marking fading back under her fur. "Yeah." She says. "We'll discuss this more later." She says softly under her breath. "Smash any machines that try to get through here." She grunts. Stepping back and facing the wall, she starts speaking an ancient Germanic chant, a few rune markings starting to glow in the shape of a door on the wall.

Moby stands frozen
"the... No no... That wouldn't have..."
He pulls his hood farther over his head and begins to follow
"right, we should move" he then draws a once hidden wide bladed rapier.

[Cifero Windtail]

"Ow," the figure said, standing back up. He looked over at Kitane. "I am sorry, madam," he said, bowing. "I am only trying to help." He walked over to Kitane, making sure not to stand behind her. "Perhaps we should make introductions." Suddenly, the figure looked at the tunnel intently, drawing a rapier. "But perhaps that could wait until AFTER we dispatch the goblins?" he said as screeching sounds began to come of the tunnel created by the door.

"goblins?" Moby stated turning
"I thought they were thuroughly dispatched in the 3rd crusade?  I was there for crying out loud"

[Cifero Windtail]

The figure regarded Moby with disdain. "You can never truly dispatch goblins." With that, he suddenly ran towards the door as multiple goblins came pouring out. "I would appreciate it if you helped me!" he said, slashing at the goblins with the rapier and a curved dagger he pulled from his belt.

Atticis was just about to walk off, when the girl ran almost a him. He froze and closed his eyes, hoping that she didn't see him. When she walked off, he let out a breath, and smiled, thinking to himself," man that was close." right when he thought that, she came back and looked right at him. He froze and looked at her, then she walked off again. He smiled and bolted across the open area that everyone was in, his footsteps made even louder than normal, and he stumbled a bit,"Screw this..."

He ran as fast as he dared, trying to seperate himself from the group, all they would see was a black figure with a red sheath and yellow eyes run in the opposite direction.

Oby drove a sword through one and brought it out to coup de grace another
"ah u opened a rift door, no wonder, no matter, easy to dispatch of"

The figure kept attacking the goblins with deadly speed and accuracy, then ran over their heads to the door, sheathed his rapier, switched his dagger to his right hand, and then made a stabbing motion at the gate while saying some ancient words, causing it to close. He then assisted Moby in defeating the rest of the goblins before turning to Kitane. "Like I said... I can help you get deeper."

Moby's eyes fixated on the stranger
"why are you here?" he asked solomnly without sheathing his own rapier

"Well, you guys are obviously not normal, and neither am I," he said, sheathing his own weapon. "Not to mention that you seem to be in a lot of trouble for some reason or another, and that you're clearly good guys. Which can only mean at some point, there's probably a demon behind this. And it's my job to kill demons."

[Jyynx]

Mobys eyes flared a bright red as he pounced on the figure shoving him against a wall as his voice grew to a very deep sound as he spoke
"good is all a matter of perspective" he growled
"demon hunter there" he continued " I use to work for fools like you" he slammed the figure against the wall hard again
" and you made me what I am!"
"THIS ISN'T MY FAULT" he yelled throwing him to the ground, seething with rage as he picked him up again slamming him against another wall
"which group ya work for?" he demanded, his eyes neon-red

"Um.... not really sure..." he said. "Well... the leader is the so-called goddess of virginity, Artemis. The main branch controls the vampire-werewolf thing, but frankly, I'm the only one who actually does anything about demons." He shrugged. "I guess they thought with all the other demon-dispatching agencies that one demon hunter would be enough, and I only joined on two years ago... you know, around that time that Dracula and his brides came back to life? You know, I actually helped protect the..." He suddenly stopped. "Um... sorry. I talk too much sometimes." He cocked his head. "So... what happened to you?"
