Once time sped up again, atticus fell to his knees panting," ugh.. W-what the... He waited until his wounds were dressed and he growled at zephyr, stood up and turned away from him," i'm gonna kill you in a minute.. I'm not a fricken loose cannon!" He looked at the man who dressed his woulds and nodded to him," thanks."

Zephyr shrugged. "Well... with your hatred of him in the past, I wasn't sure what to expect... sorry about that."

"If he doesn't recognize me, it's probably for the best." Aerrow nodded slightly. "The afterlife can change a person dramatically." He grinned. Helping Atticus stand, he looks around and raises an eyebrow to Zephyr. "Dante is getting the flower for Kitane. He may run into some trouble though, so stay with him." He says, walking Atticus to the nearest bench. "I will go help him." He smiled slightly before taking to the air in a shower of feathers.

Once the word afterlife was spoken, he froze in mid step, refusing to move an inch, even though his arm and leg were protesting, and he looked at Aerrow, watching him fly off. He turned to zephyr and then he looked down, and sat down on the bench, putting his head in his paws and closing his eyes, relaxing for a few minutes. He looked at his watch and he stood up after about 5 minutes, and began to jog towards the mansion.

"I've been with him the whole time..." With those words, the fake Zephyr suddenly dissapeared, reappearing next to Dante.


Dante jumped. "Geez man!" he said, staring. "Well... whatever."


LATER....


"Here we are!" Dante said, stopping inside the room and surveying it. "Heh... you folks sure did a number on them..."


Zephyr looked left and right. "Yeah... We did... You feel that?"
"Feel what?"
"Nothing... just.... i feel as though we're... being watched..."

Almost as if on cue, Father Time lunges for the flower, his mask slightly askew. With a grin, he throws his watch into the air and continues his plunge.

Like a rocket, Aerrow flies right for him, smashing into him to prevent him from grabbing the flower. And luckily, he was mere seconds before that could happen. As they roll across the floor, another crack opens up, branched off the other one from the earlier fight.

Dante and Zephyr seemed to be frozen... however, the real Zephyr wasn'[size=78%]t... [/size]

Aerrow grabs the ledge before they fall over the side of the crack, the injured dragon grabbing onto his leg. "Let go arsehole!" He grunts, swinging his leg a bit to try and shake him off.

Atticus hears the sound of fighting as he bursts into the room, quickly assessing the situation, seeing the two man who helped him frozen like he was, and aerrow  hanging from a ledge. He also saw in the middle of the room, the silver flower and he ran over to it. He looked at the flower and then aerrow, then back down to the flower again, and he growled and ran over to aerrow, grabbing his wrist, making sure he had a firm grasp on aerrow, and immediately noticing the dragon hanging on his leg, he smiled and pulled out his pistol, aiming for the dragons head.

Zephyr watched carefully, waiting for the right time to interfere...



Meanwhile, Jeff watched over Kitane.

"Let me go Atticus, I'll be fine. Just trust me." He smiled, releasing the ledge to grasp Atticus' arm.

Kitane didn't move while in her coma, the heart monitor beeping rather monotonously..

Atticus growled, his muscles bulging from the strain of holding up two people. he dropped his pistol and held onto aerrows forearm and wrist," eff that!" he tried to pull him up, but his strength was failing him and he couldn't lift them,"Grrr... I'm not letting you go!" He gritted his teeth and held his ground, not listening to the man hanging over the ledge to let him go.
