I wrote stories about my first furry character when I was about 8, but I only really started getting into the community and focusing more on it about a year or two ago.

If by "random" you mean people who are "random", then usually yes, provided they're not also annoying.
If it's "random" as in "People who randomly appear", then not really.

It must have been clowns.
Because clouds don't smell.
They taste like butter.
