I think it would be widely used by anyone. Who wouldn't want the potential for unfailing and ever-expanding memory?

It could create populations of furries to inhabit itself alongside you, maybe even other things. Think virtual reality more or less made real.

I think it'd just be easier to use virtual reality directly linked up the brain, so things you use in the "virtual reality" are felt by you, you can feel their touch, their sent, their taste and others. So you can create a furry community that is seemingly real in every way. Would require a lot of computational power, but you wouldn't need a planet sized computer if quantum computers are perfected.

Probably not, I mean we could if we wanted to, just not many people want to have flying cars. Not entirely high on the list of priorities and the automotive industry is progressing really slowly.

Problem with virtual reality is that when you use it you know it isn't real, as nice as it is.
