That said, I do find it extremely amusing that the altar painting in my old in the middle of nowhere home town was essentially just a huge all-seeing eye. If I were a random secret organization, I'd have my HQ out in the middle of nowhere like that.

I think what they fear about Trump is mostly his ideals and his absolute stance on many topics... Honestly personally I didn't expect Trump to win but I also don't think that these "hysteric" people you saying are THAT many. I mean the way media shows some things sometimes showing only one side of the argument kinda makes a false impression..


Think about how furries are presented in the media.. only the "bad" side of the fandom creating a false impression on people. That false impression can be translated to the Trump case too for example that everyone hates Trump etc. while it's obvious that since he got elected he doesn't only have haters but supporters too..

Yes, I think it almost certainly does.  But as to whether we'll ever make contact with those planets or not I have no strong opinion.

Hmm honestly I am not sure. What if they can't communicate with us due to them being much more intelligent than us? There might be issues so yep better safe than sorry I guess :p

I honestly don't think it accounts for the massive scale of both space and time that could separate different lifeforms, there are too many unknown variables to assume there should already be contact.  So the onus is on supporters rather than detractors. Also I think the term paradox is a misuse.
