Three times, two wildfires (back when I lived in a more rural setting) and one blackout xD Not so much an evacuation as a "No electricity, mate has barbeque. Shall go there instead" kind of thing, but I suppose it's close enough.

I think theres some benefits in technology, but things like to get over complicated, giving other a superiority complex over people with different devices that in the end produce the same function.

I think we're aware of that war with Germany .-.
 
But it is a possibility. However thanks to the efforts of the EU and UN the chances are slim. But if things go far enough south, if history has taught us anything, all bets are off. But I'm far from an expert, so don't hold too tightly to my opinion.
