No, because everyone will be scared of new technology. It is quite possible when we are old we'll be the ones against the modern technology. We get slower in learning, technology continues at the same pace (sometimes even faster) and we can't keep up.

Though, ok, yes it could if new technology seized to exist due to nuclear war or something
