I think that we can improve on nature, I support cybernetics but I don't think we'll get good cybernetics for at least 40 years.

Actually this is quite interesting.
In order for us to teleport we'd need our matter to be recorded than transmitted into light waves than recreated on the other side.
This, effectively, kills us and makes a new clone of ourselves.
However, the person who dies does not know he is dead (because he is dead haha) the clone does not know he is a clone and an outside observer doesn't know anything changed.
So whether that could be considered killing someone, I dunno.
So yeah,
that's my thoughts
