A friend of mine is actually part of an Ásatrú fellowship. Sometimes referred to as Germanic neopaganism, it's the very religion you speak of, sigols.

I don't subscribe to any religion, but I do possess some level of loose spirituality.

Have you ever been in any stage productions before? If so, what was your role? If you were in multiple productions, which role was your favorite?

I've only been a performer so nope. But if it counts, Im currently doing a module in TV and radio production and in my group assignment I'm the producer for a one minute TV and radio news show.

The theory is nice, but has been 'nailed to the cross', so to speak for how it has been worked out in practice. If we would live in an 'ideal' world, it might (have) work(ed), but people in general are not ready for that now (and maybe never will).
So: In theory it works, in practice not so much.

Could be just for research until they can decide whether or not we're worth 'keeping' as friends/allies or as labourers
But usually how things have gone in history: "Oh look! New land (or planet in this case )."
*declares to be of own motherland and then forces to have the natives submit to their will*

Well really depends on the aliens society. Chances are if they had significant enough technology they could just see us as primates that don't have the same rights as intelligent beings, like we do with animals.
