Do you believe in souls? And if so, can an AI have one?

No, well, depends.
I don't believe in souls as a meta-physical sense, but the thing is, some people often refer to the 'spirit' of someone as a metaphorical thing, it shows there drive, courage and such. In which case, if you call someones happiness and courage someones soul, then you could theoretically say that people do have a soul. Can an AI have one? It can if it is programmed to feel courage and strength and such.

Well, if you include energy, which I would find a better way to describe matter even, then yes, yes I would.

Do you believe in the absurd? (An absolute truth in the universe that we would never begin to think of comprehending [Note: I'm not calling it absurd, that's the actual name])

I think the "absurd" is very likely a possibility, something that we will discover only after we have posthumans.


How do you deal with irrational people?

I use their own logic against them. If they are irrational, their will be flaws in their own logic. You can't defeat someone else's logic with your own logic, sometimes you have similar logic, like say you show them a graph, under that persons logic a graph is suitable evidence for something to be true. Some people don't agree and stuff, but the point is, you are always using their own logic against them to win the argument.

  If you can't find a flaw in their logic, then think whether they have found a flaw in yours.

Do you believe that Asceticism is the only way to discover true understanding of ones self and ones limits?

No, asceticism is a "karmic" belief that by enduring trials one will be rewarded.

No I didn't, though I didn't listen to his song either
Though tbh, I don't exactly know any reason to not be transhuman. Maybe someone who is against modifying the human body for the good of mankind can tell me their reasons.

Most scientists agree that a time machine would only be able to go back as far as the point it was first constructed, so no, not necesarily.
