Yep, my best friend cut out of a plan, disagreed, use my weaknesses, then re-joined only to disagree more and ruin it for me.

He is still one of my friends, a good friend, but not a best friend...

Sounds like alot of people I know.
I never made friends with thies people or talked much to them
because they where the group of people at my school who smoked, drank,
and... ya.... Being me I tend to stay away from people like that, its in my nature.
