What do you like abour furries?

 for the art itself it's more the perfection, warm and cuddliness of the furries, they look more nice, cute and just generally better and more perfect than human pics

so you can fall in love with a fur  when it comes to appearance.

Well for me the furry community is like an underground organization of people all in on a certain theme (furries here  ) that unites them across different countries, ages, cultures, and lifestyles. When I became a furry, I felt as though I was joining this organization and becoming apart of something big, fun, and quite fuzzy! 

A group of people that you can find in each country each cultures everwhere. Yeah that's nice.
Do you still feel the same way? like when you became a furry?

Anthropomorphic content is just an extension of my interest in sci-fi/fantasy and animals. The fandom itself is a decent procrastination tool, and some nice artists that don't participate much in other communities post to places like FurAffinity and SoFurry.

Yes I definitely do feel the same way! I love it! It's this feeling of interconnectedness that I haven't really felt before

The people always seemed nice and accepting, I'm into the same things, and they really allow you to be who you are without judgement, they just want to have a good time. I always feel like people take things too seriously, and its nice to be somewhere where not everything is just school, work, family, die. I always felt like the furry community was the only place I really fit in. Though, its not like I'm careless to a facetious extent, I know when I need to be serious and mature if the situation comes into being.

Anyways, what I like about the furry fandom is that the people there are very accepting and nice. They also share some of the same interest I do and they're pretty fun to be around.


As for anthropomorphic characters, they just look so much more beautiful, cuddly, cute, and nice that humans.

I like the furry community because everyone is so nice and aren't so judgmental about people's differences (for the most part). I like how everyone's so unique. I've met so many new friends since ive became a furry. I kinda just like everything about it ^.^

I totally agree with you Beatnory. To be honest, I wasn't really searching for furries etc. I was searching for a roleplay forum. The first two were really strange (just to say, sm like ) and then I a friend of mine told me about furries. I immediately became interested in it, anthropomorphic  animals are awesome. Then I found this site. It is great, the furries are nice, and the roleplays better than normal. Thanks everyone who made this possible!!!

to me furries are a gathering of artists, enthusiest, writer's, and performers. im personally a reader and writer. ive heard od furries first while watching the discovery channel, by the anthro con c.e.o. i imediatly became interested and looked up more info, naturally. then i found this forum. the rest is history

Why i like being a furry and why i like furries:


The reason i like being a furry because its a art form i enjoy very much and i just love anthropomorphic animals in general. I also think i fit in because every were else i go i dont fit in with anyone.    I also agree with Beatnory i also feel safer and i feel as if even though i have not really met any of you i feel that i can trust you more.   




The reason i like furries is because i think there very fun loveing people and i dont see why anyone would hate them in the first place.[size=78%]  [/size]

              I like the fandom for a number of reasons. The art, stories, along with the fact that the fandom as a whole is filled with interesting and generally excepting individuals.  As for why I like anthro art I've never really thought about the why. I guess my enjoyment just came about naturally.

The furry community is beautiful.  UncleKage, chairman of Anthrocon, said it best in my opinion. And I quote:

I like the deeper connection that it brings between human and animal. I like how certain animals match certain peoples personalities. I like how **censor** adorable they are! And I also like how bad ass they can be as well. I like how the fandom is a good way to escape and kinda be in your own world for a bit. It helps relax any stressful person quite a bit. As long as it doesn't get out of hand.
