I listen to music more than play so I'd say listen, but playing is more rewarding just I do it less xD

You really need both, but if you had to choose the wild unknown is more interesting and funner, even if it's more dangerous, it's also more important.

Physics of the really big (Relativity, Astronomy, etc) or Physics of the really small (Nuclear Physics, Quantum Theory, etc)?

Physics of the really big. Astronomy is something that has always interested me in some ways, though I have never gotten too  deep into it.
