I doubt it, the sheer resources that requires would go far beyond any individual, and they would be no more potent than any other member of the species they originate from.
 
Do you feel that military future is going to be widely mechanised, and in order to combat this actual armed forces will deteriorate into special operations units and terror cells?

No, and special operations aren't normal operations, you know. The future of the military is to need more people back home and less people out on the front, such is the evolution of the military. And then, space happens. Guerilla warfare and small stealthy strikes aren't the future any more than it is the present.

Precisely my point. Regular operations will be made redundant by truly militarised militaries, and such is the way of modern war where the largest nations avoid direct conflict on the ground, unconventional units are the path ahead of us.

Yeah, but normal is defined by what happens most. If today's special operations are the main force of tomorrow, then they aren't special anymore, just regular. Furthermore, special operations aren't main attack forces, and we won't be seeing that at all, its why their special. Furthermore, there are more than infantry SpecOps, every service has some.


Do you think mechanized warfare will grow to be even more important than today?

Yes, although I have doubts as to their success. I saw one recently, a "Booze for Bibles" drive.
Again you mistook what I mean xD I was stating that wholly mechanised forces would be the regular units, with the only nonmechanised forces being unconventional units.
