Maybe a large space battle could be an idea. Not only consisting of the ships of the Roleplayers, but also numerous cruisers, fighter squadrons, frigrates, capital ships, all send by the supporters of both the Jedi and the Sith. For example: The New Republic sends numerous ships as an escort with the Jedi, and the Sith, who want to invade the Jedi Temple, bring ships as well from their supporters to be able to smash through the defence of Coruscant, which is loyal to the Republic and the Jedi. Everyone meets somewhere halfway, and a large spacebattle comes to be. These fleets could be commanded and used by the Jedi/Sith Masters/Knights/Padawan(?). Because no-one really plays any of these characters (imagine captains, crewmen, squadron leaders, etc), they can be fought, fight with you, killed and be killed without any Roleplay-troubles. This will make the battle more realistic, for if no-one dies, it isn't very real, is it? And in the end, our ships crash on some kind of planet, and a ground battle starts (maybe even with ground forces (troopers, tanks, speederbikes, artillery) but that might be too much of the good thing  )

Yes, but good is not the same as wicked  . What do you think of it??? Again, it's not a 'You must all follow this idea'-thing, for I'm not the leader of this roleplay, just a small-time advisor

Sorry Dingo, Cifero, everyone... I made a slight mistake in switching the names of two of my characters, Blizzard and Caldif... I corrected it, but some already posted questioning my name... It's only Caldif, any Blizzard-related mistakes I make are wrong...

I just want to make a point that we can have the massive battle much later rather than straight away.
cifero, you dont have to get shot down
the jedi vessel is a smuggler class vessel with not alot of fire power but quite a bit of speed
i know slave 1 is a bounty hunter ship, stolen from a maximum security prison so it has quite a bit of fire power and speed

the other jedi may request a seperate ship with something more of a kick, though remember the current story isn;t going for a massive space battle, just a trip to a planet to do some investigating.
I am generaly all for the idea of a small conflict, resulting in the jedi shaken and in panic of their temple being retaken and have to make it back in time to stop the sith, though let's leave the epic fights for later

Indeed. The big War doesn't break out until later. There's still so far the story can/should/must go before we get there.
