 *Eyebrows rise* Oh really? That great, I haven’t run into another shadow user since the 9^th king. Which of your parents was a shadow user? The rumor on me is that my father was the first shadow. *Now seen the scroll* Mm? That is an old one, I might be wrong since I only seeing the cover but if I right then that scroll is to help shadow user to control and also give other to have power over them. And by the smell of your aura, you are well aged and know good deal on other powers. If that so, then that is one of the handful of the scroll that I left with ten clans. There was a Fire, Water, Ice, Steel, Sand, Earth, Air, Blood, Light, and of course, Shadow. While I hidden the many more but those were one that was too great to leave out for the world to find so I left them with the clans to guard for me.

The 10 clans what are those? Can they teach me new powers if I desired learning them?

 *Turn to Ruari* There are ten clans that is mainly special areas power. The list of the owner of the scroll are 1^st is the Bears. They have the Blood scroll. 2^nd is the Spider. They have the Steel scroll. 3^rd is the Horses. They have the Water scroll. 4^th is the Hawk and Owl. They have the Air scroll. 5^th is the Fox. They have the Light scroll. 6^th is the Wolf. They have the Earth. 7^th is the Cat. They have the Sand scroll. 8^th is the Coyote and Jackal. They have the Fire scroll. 9^th is the Raccoon. They have the Ice scroll. 10^th is the Shapeshisifter. They have the Shadow scroll. They are all over the world. And as the name of the scroll is the power that the scroll can give you or better control over it. And as for them to teach an outsider, I don’t think so. Some of the clans, you have to be born into it and even the marries into it don’t count. While other clans would have a special test, the test is very deathly to even the trained member of the clan, let alone an outsider. I do not know where they are now or if any still alive as I gave them the items around the time of the 35^th king. In other words, that is aleast over thousand years ago. I can find out where they are as the holy scroll has a spell that is linked to other so if one gets moved then the holy scroll can find it.

I'm guessing most of these clans are spread out around the world as well? Hmm do you think it is a good idea to go and seek these scrolls? *looks at you revealing my red eyes* It maybe easiest for me to get the flame scroll after all I use flames quite often who knows I may have an ancestor from the clan. I would love to learn the power of steel but I have a bit of an arachnophobia. *shudders*

 *Laugh* Well, yes. they would be spread all over and for the steel, It more of a webbing. So you won't have to worry about dealing with the your phobia as that scroll is made for the spider clan. Now, for the idea for searching for the Coyote and Jackal clan since they are the one that have the fire scroll. MMM...not sure on the idea. They are close to the fox that love to trick everyone, but they take the honor of guarding them very heavily. Like I said, I don’t know where to start on that hunt. But if one want the holy scroll, they would have to take my test to earn it and It can be very costly. It won’t kill you but it take part of your soul if you fail.

Hmm tell me about this test we must undertake to acquire the holy scroll. Also what would you do with a part of a scroll?

*Tilt head* What you mean on the part of the scroll? And as for the test, one must prove that he or she in some case, is pure. And when I say pure, it not just good but also evil. You must be either pure evil or pure good. If one have both then they can be overpower by the greed on the scroll. It may seem bad on the evil part but it really not as when you prove it and touch it, it take all the good or evil out of you and make you become pure neural. There series of test that must be taking that is all over the world in order. But if so then the first test is a good one but hard and not deathly at all. You just need to be able to last long enough in time limits with my friend in his choice of battle. And he is wise that he dislike to fight so his battle would be many thing that is not hand to hand, spell to spell or metal to metal but mind to mind.
 *Turn to Night* Might not. The scroll stays with the elder on the clan and if you have it then the clan could be either is spread out itself or gone but few left. Do you know who your family was and how have you come by this scroll then?

ell, when it come to the soul, it hard to explain but if you are not pure enough for it, whatever you touch the scroll with, it take it away from your soul. If one touches it with their hand then the arm will be taken. In the waking world, everyone can see the arm as it would be still there but you fell different as the arm wouldn’t feel like it is your arm ever again and in the dream world when you go to sleep, the arm would be gone…forever. However it can be worse as if the head was to touch it then while still is alive but you would goes crazy and lose your reason and your purpose. And for the test, any time you want to as here he is. *Door open up to show a large 7 foot shadow shape of mix of hawk and bobcat, he walk over the largest chair and sat down which cause the room to shake for a second. The shadow reaches for the food in one hand while the other reaches for the big metal pipe. It start eat and smoke.* and before you ask to show himself, he can’t as he is a shadow creatures. The better wording of the terms is that he is my shadow soul. *Turn to Night* Ah, sorry then. I can tell you if you are one of the lost clan if it is gone but only if you want as it would open your shadow to other and change you faster which can be very harmful.

 You would become closer to the shadow world. The risk is that the brighter the light is the more it would burn you unless you make a special cloak for you. And even then it hard to make, as some of the stuff you would need is also hard to find. The other shadow change is that over time you can go crazy as you would hear the shadow talking to you all the time and some would want to take over of you if you don’t have enough strength in willpower. There is a chance that it would stop your ageing, and if high enough power but not strong enough will power on that end, forever part of the shadow that you can’t leave your own shadow. All in all, it falls down to how strong is one willpower is.
*The friend let out a loud burp. It turns to the one that felt that was staring at him. Tilt his head and groan in the rumbling which sounds similar to “What?”*

I'm curious of what the test may hold and I'm trying to make some assumptions by your personality.
