What is your religion?

Was a Christian, but became an atheist. I still just tell people that I'm a Christian to avoid conflict with certain individuals though. :-)

I was raised Methodist, but it never felt right. So in middle school I started learning about Wicca, then branched off to other old and ancient religions. I can't really say which I am since I am more spiritual than religious. But I can say I am pagan and am partial to Roman and Egyptian gods. Or I guess I could just call myself a witch. *shrugs* I'm not really concerned about it with others.

What is the name of your religion?


I don't exactly know if my "religion" has a name... lol. I believe in what the Bible Says. No more, no less. There are many denominations of Christianity. I attend a Free Methodist church, which comes close to what I believe, but maybe the best I could claim to be is Protestant Christian.

What is the creation story of your religion?

You would have to read the Bible to find out exactly what I believe... but here's the short(ish) version.

In the beginning, God created the earth. Mankind (Adam and Eve) sinned, because The Devil tricked them. The world became an evil place, so God sent a flood to wipe out all creation, except for Noah's family. After The Flood, sin re-entered the world. The entire Old Testament later, Jesus was born to the virgin Mary, wound up growing up, dyeing on the cross for our sins, and rising on the third day. In the end (the book of "Revelation"... Singular... not plural), There's a rapture (I think pre-tribulation... but, it doesn't matter what I think. It kmatters what God has planned, which we will not know until it happens), the whole word is evil... but, some people re-start (or, depending, spread) Christianity, theres a battle between good and evil (we even know the location this battle will take place in) and in the end, we win.

I believe in The Afterlife (Heaven & Hell) because the Bible tells us it exists. and that the only way to gain access to Heaven is to accept God into your heart.

Is there anything different or iconic about your religion?

Christianity as a whole is one of the oldest religions. I believe the United States of America, and the world as a whole, are trying to shut Christians up, but it is motivating us to speak louder. There is a lot of debating in the Christian faith about whats right and whats wrong... which is why I choose to follow what the Bible says. No more, no less. China attempted/is attempting to persecute Christians, but what they really have done is start one of the biggest revivals the world has seen.

We celebrate Christ's birth every year on December 25th, but it is more likely that he was born sometime in the spring. We estimate April or May.

When people ask about The Trinity (God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit) most people think of 1+1+1=1... which isn't possible. I think a better way to explain it is 1x1x1=1.

How has this religion affected your life?

It gives me something to live for. Something to help me get through the pain in life. I know I am on the earth... not of it. That one day, I will meet God face to face. I hope more then anything he will say "Well done, good and faithful servant." and that I will be able to spend eternity with Him.

Was raised Catholic, but became agnostic as I now feel that you can't really objectively prove or disprove god's existence either way.


However, I still remain very accepting of other religions and the people who follow them and find it very interesting to learn about them.

I have very abstract and intangible beliefs based on my experiences. It's kind of an iffy story since it involves drugs so I'll only get into that if someone's curious. Before this, I was an atheist.

Agnostic. I think the possibility that there is a god is unlikely, but I can't say there isn't one for sure. I seriously just don't care much at all. We don't need organized religion to tell us that life is free and beautiful. I certainly wouldn't want to bash gays or abortion supporters just because I am fearful of going to some sort of hell.

I never posted mine. My religion is an Atheist-Agnostic, which means I do not believe in a god, but through the scientific method I do not say that one can't exist.

I was raised a Christian, but have since become an eclectic pagan and gnostic Luciferian. Christianity is still very important to me though, and I base my morals on Scripture.

I've gone my entire life having one person after another label me as some religion, but I've hardly ever given myself a set one that I follow.

In all honesty, I don't think I can classify myself under one, because I neither believe in many, nor not believe in any, if that makes sense.
