Well, hi people. This will probably be a terrible introduction, so read at your own risk.

Anyway though, I'm literally brand new to this stuff although it's probably been sitting in my subconscious mind for a while. I guess I would call muself a hal-furry (is that even possible?  :)) because while I've been like oh, cool, I like this stuff, I also feel kind of like I don't really care about it. I really don't know what I think of all this (If only I knew some psychology).

Either way though, I'm sure you guys will make me feel welcome here and help me discover myself. With any luck I'll be staying around, so I guess I should cough up aome information.

I'm an Australian male teenager. Into electronics (but I don't kbow if I would call it a hobby) and I might be getting into RC aviation in the near future. Oh, and I'm also fairly reserved and shy, so yeah.. I probably wont be the biggest participant in these things anyway, but that's just who I am. I guess I would also say I like to think about stuff and the consequences before taking action - I guess that's part of being naturally smart (I ace exams without studying!!! I like it  :D)

I think that for a first fursona (if/when I get around to it) I'll be some sort of tech enhanced (but not cyborg) wolf/dog hybrid. Sorry if someone else already has this, but it will quite possibly be mine now :). I was also thinking a possible wolf/cat before I realised it wouldn't really work.

I think the wolf/dog is good though - with the hunting styles of wolves being ao amazing and the loyalty and respect of dogs.

I wouldn't be suprised though if this is the longest intro you've read in a while (sorry) but anyway, I guess I'll see you guys around! WOOF!

My (Fursona's) name is Obanoth.

I don't see why you couldn't have a wolf/cat hybrid... A lot of furrys like anthromorphic characters... they are human/whatever animal hybrids... that's not technically possible, but its a fandom... doesn't have to be realistic xD

My fursona is a Dragon anthro (anthro is short for Anthromorphic, if you didn't know that.) He has a mechanical right arm, and tail. I am trying to decide whether they were gone at hatching, or if they were chopped off during battle. What do you think?

I get that I can do anything, but I guess I want what could be a potentially realistic combination of animals. I also guess that I'm saying 'guess' way too much. And, I like the idea of the arm and tail being chopped off in battle personally. You seem like a pretty nice guy though. I think this seems like a really good community to be a part of.

Warm welcomes to the forum drenten  :)  This is an extremely welcoming community so I doubt that you will have any problems finding peers to connect with on any level. Obviously though, you will find more to do the more you invest, so don't be afraid to fool around in the random board, practice your writing skills in roleplaying, share your experiences, daily quirks and PM people you think seem awesome.


And your intro is of perfect length, I prefer something substantial over the short "hello" anyday  ^_^

I'm Almar, welcome to the Forum! I'm pretty shy too, but I've been here for a while. (Already been 6 months? Time flies!) As for the Fursona, no need to hurry, I originally came up with a black and white raccoon, but then over the months I have changed him around until I'm happy with the result. (A brown, red, and tan raccoon) Anyway, I hope you like it here ^_^

The name's not as good in it's original form, so I'm glad I changed it up.
My favourite colour varies depending on how I feel. Usually a nice saturated red or a dark and slightly grey blue, when it isn't black though - It's probably black most of the time, but I don't keep records of it.
