What do you think, Rena? So far we have AlmarRaccoon as our bounty hunter, Shapeshifter as our spy, and I'm thinking it would be fun to play a thief/hacker-type person (with more of an emphasis on thief). By no means do you need to have a profession/role along those lines, but maybe these will give you some inspiration? Also, just because a role/profession is taken doesn't mean you can't have it, too! So choose anything you like! 


If you want more inspiration, I can always fire off some random, off-the-top-of-my-head professions/types of people you'd run into on Iridia (and even just the Proxima system in general. You can always be from a different planet, or even an entirely different system).

Police officer, or even en elite, SWAT-like person


A mercenary or bounty hunter


A thief


A hacker (they can make a looooooootta money if they play their cards right)


A gangster


A smuggler or drugrunner


An information broker


A spy


A pilot


A space pirate

A reporter

An amazing/famous gourmet chef


An inventor


A chemist


A biologist


A microbiologist


A physicist


A doctor, surgeon, or medic


An explosives expert


A sniper


A heavy weapons person


A CQC expert


A ninja or assassin


And you're certainly not limited to those! I just want to help inspire you to create your role for this RP.

There you go!    When I'm creating a character, I usually start with what I want to do as that character, and then think about whom I want to do it for/why.


As a doctor/medic-type person, you could do that for a variety of people/organizations. You could just be a regular doctor working for the public. However, you could also be a field medic for the military, or for a mercenary group. You could even work for a gang or organized crime syndicate, fixing people up after they've been shot/stabbed/overdosed on something/etc. This could be done in the field during gang wars/battles with the authorities, or in safehouses or hideouts.


If you wanna do something really out there, you could even be a super crazy/sadistic doctor or surgeon who uses their knowledge of anatomy and bodily functions to torture and/or kill people. Maybe even poison them with large amounts/strange mixtures of different medicines, eroding their vital organs from the inside out...
Any of that sound appealing?

If that's what you wanna do, then I say go for it.    Just make sure you nail it down to something specific. For example, are you gonna be part of a team of mercs, or are you more of an independent medic-for-hire?

Maybe Shapeshifter and I could be the stealthy ones, Rena514 can be the medic, AlmarRaccoon can be a specialist in whatever area he wants (and of course be a lone bounty hunter as his other job), and Ventus and any newcomers can be whatever they wanna be?


That's not to say that we need to start as a team in the RP, of course. Maybe we could all meet, or be thrown into working together somehow?

Since spy can't be my main job I'd also like to be a pilot to be of some use... so I get around a lot and meet many new people aka acquire new forms

Wonderful!    Personally, I like the idea of a team of normally independent mercs being brought together for a very specific mission. Would everyone like that as a main plot element? I'd still need to think of the mission in question, of course...
