She blushes and kisses you back, smiling softly. She hands you your balaclava back. "Why do you have to wear this?" She stands up gracefully, turning to help you up too. A glow seems to surround her slightly, the sun behind her now with the wind blowing her hair around her face. Her wings were slightly visible behind her, turned black by shadows.

"I was born with a kind of disease, syndrome, making me incredibly vulnerable to the cold." He sighed, placing his hand on yours "You can even call me cold blooded in a way..." He giggled, looking to the ground. "Therefore, I wear these clothes to maintain balanced temperature and moisture." He fiddled with the mask slightly, stretching its fibers. "My hair helps, though.." He joked, looking back to her.

She giggles and smiles wide, holding your hand. "We better get going. I would get clothes from my house, but I don't think they'd fit." She looks down the street at a house and smiles. "There it is! We're almost there!" She looks up at you, excited.

He mirrored the smile, standing up with her. "Well, let's go! And we can always buy clothes later, remember?"

Smiling, she nods. "Do you see it? It's the big baby blue one. My patents were barely home, so my maid raised me. She meant a lot more to me than they did. I wonder if she still remembers me." She squeezes your hand, a little scared.

He nodded as well, soon giving her a small nuzzle. "It will be okay, she will remember you, without a doubt."

Smiling, she started for the house, a little hesitant. Soon, she reached the front of it and looked at it from the sidewalk. "I-I'm not sure what to do..." She held onto tour hand tightly and kept close to you.

He smiled. "It's okay, she'll remember you." He gave her a hug, hoping to fill her with determination.

She hugged you back, smiling softly. "Thanks." She holds on a little more and looks back toward the house, deciding how to go. She lets go of your hand and walks up to the door, knocking on it before she changes her mind. Shortly after an elderly fox woman opens the door and looks at Ebony. Ebony looks up shyly and the fox gasps, putting a hand on her heart. She sweeps Ebony up in a tight hug and smiles wide. "Y-You're back! I knew you would come back." The fox says, loud enough to carry to you.

He walked to her side, giving a warm smile. "Hello!" he said to the fox shyly, beginning to clutch the hand of Ebony in desperation.

Ebony wipes at her eyes and sniffles, smiling. She holds your hand and looks back and forth between you two. "Oh! Amber, this is Auden. He helped me as soon as I got away from my keepers. I'll tell you all about it," she says to Amber's puzzled expression. "Can we come in? Please?" Amber nods and backs up, holding open the door. Amber and Ebony both look up at you, Ebony pulling lightly on your hand for you to follow her into the big house.

He slowly followed her, wondering what to expect.

Amber herded us into what looked like a sitting room and spoke gently to Ebony after they all were seated.
"What happened?" I look down at my hands, knowing she wouldn't ask me about my scars until I mentioned them. Ebony told her what she told you, going through how the people kidnapped her, who hit her, and who used her for their pleasure. Anger, pain, sympathy, and worry all passed over Amber's face, but never pity. Her face lit up slightly when Ebony told how sometimes she fought back and sometimes ran away, and then how she met you. When Ebony talked about you, she held your hand tightly and Amber noticed this.

He sensed Amber's thoughts, his cheeks turning crimson once again. He gripped her hand tighter, soon leaning towards the ground in a hunch, pretending to check his shoes, but explaining in his body language how he feels he is in an uncomfortable situation.

Amber smiles and says, "I'm so happy for you two. She deserves someone good after what happened." Ebony blushes and Amber smiles. Ebony looks at you and squeezes your hand. She looks around, "where's mom and dad? They out on business?" Amber shakes her head and looks away uneasily, "Your mother quit her job. She's been a wreck, having random bursts of anger and depression. I-I think seeing you may do her good." Ebony nods and looks worried, standing up slowly. Amber stands up, looking down a hallway.
