Basically I'd say this as words of encouragement towards those who would mourn my loss. I wouldn't want the darkness of night (Or my death) to consume them to the point in which they couldn't enjoy life anymore. Instead, I'd want them to 'rage against the dying of the light' or to continue living life as if it were their own last days on earth because hey; just because I'm gone doesn't mean they are
