DuPont: Wait! Wait! Look at me. Look at me. I'm life. I live... I, I breathe... I feel. Now that you know it... can you really take it? Is it really worth the price?
John Preston: I pay it gladly. A short line at the end of 'Equilibrium', a movie in where emotions are outlawed, to prevent outburst and to forever keep peace. John Preston, one of the most skilled agents in finding 'feelers' finds out about emotions, and what a useless thing life is without them, and ends up helping the rebels by murdering the empire's leader, Dupont, who in a sad last attempt tries to convince Preston that he is alike, and being a 'feeler' is special and shouldn't be killed. Obviously, John mauls his face so to speak
Amazing movie, from 2002.
