Im just getting started on Rp and i want to do one soon but ideas escape me but i know i want it to be fun any ideas

As a start, you should practice with... a realistic fiction roleplay, that's where I started. Making a full-blown fantasy can be difficult for first-timers.

Creating roleplays based on videogames, especially open world games such as Fallout 3 or Skyrim, can be fun and easy.

Roleplays based off of known worlds such as from a game, book,or movie. They can also be based off of a time period such as the Wild West or the distant future. Or you can always base it off a fantasy and your own imagination.

I agree that a present-day, realistic fiction rp would be the easiest. That, or a historical fiction-type thing like Nonstop mentioned with the wild west. Distant future stuff—even near future—and fantasy can be difficult, because they typically require much more world building. If you wanna do one of those, definitely go for it. I'm just saying that it will likely require a little more creativity.
