I would absolutely love to see this, although I have a feeling the people who really need to see that information associated with the politicians wouldn't pay attention to it anyway...

I signed the petition and agree with the premise. Although I sadly doubt anything will come of it. Neither the politicians nor their backers would enjoy this idea so I don't see it being made into law anytime soon :/ .

I assume a lot of backers would step down, not wanting to risk their business and money on being associated that strongly with a politician and their views. Less backers means less money, less money would make the political play a lot more fun. Or worse perhaps, since they would have to be more clever..
