And ok... seems like its ok... Its just that with two characters I try to start colouring the dialogue so its clear who is who... and black seemed the most appropriate for a talking obsidian pendant

Up to Kittenpillar more than me, he knows what would fit best for the lore of his world so I won't intervene...

I got the idea for Fallen one from spirits that were originally good or wild but became dark spirits.

:  But that idea seems cool and I would have thought may fit in with what Kittenpillar is thinking

Uh, Cif?  I hadn't really registered it before, but using a Tomahawk can come off really badly.  Tomahawks were only used by certain Native American tribes, and although I'm not sure EXACTLY which, it was a plains tribe.  Thowing it in because it's cool looking isn't going to get the same "Eh" as a broadsword.  It's a type of cultural appropriation and, if anyone that has roots in the tribe saw that, would immediately drive someone off.  Is the character or are you part of that?  Cause if not, it'd otherwise probably be best to change it to something less likely to set someone off.

I agree, a throwing axe or hammer could be just as easily used as well...

or if you're looking for something more exotic, try the kestros or the falerica. They are both spears that are launched from a spear-thrower. I'm somewhat of a weapon fanatic, so  fell free to ask me if you have any questions.

Jor, I agree there, but could you not "exotic" to describe them?  It's a bit othering.  Same reason as below.

You're probably right. However, the ability to use them still remains as they were technically generic weapon. I meant exotic in the fact that it requires a spear-thrower, a type of sling, to propel it forward.

Ah.  Thanks.    I'm actually quite interested.  What do these look like?  Are they old style weapons?  Ive never heard of the names.

The kestros hails from Macedonia and consists of a massive dart and sling. The shaft was twelve inches long, reinforced with iron and carried a nine inch point shaped like a leaf. The sling's cord was then inserted into a notch and the wielder would grip a handle, swing it overhead and release. The falerica originated in Iberia, as a ranged pole weapon, similar to a javelin. The shaft and head were 90 cm each, and were designed to pierce armor.

Guys, regarding extremely exotic weapons, I am allowing the higly advanced weaponry such as the Cho'Ko'Nu repeating crossbow and the culverin. Your character history MUST state why they own such a weapon however...
