She smiles back at him, staring into his eyes. She didn't know how, but she somehow knew that she was having a major effect on him, just like he was having on her. Her heart was pounding and she could hear it pulsing in her ears. She wouldn't be surprised if he could hear it, since he had such a keen sense of hearing.

his heart races faster as she stares back into his eyes, now feeling as though his heart will explode of jump out he closes his eyes and forces a breeze to come by and brush her hair into the wind
