If  you see an animal hit on the side of the road and stop to see if you can help it you might be a furry.
If you spot a kitten in the dead of winter and find where it came from and several others and save them you might be a furry.

If you commonly walk around with live crickets in a baggie, you're a Furry who has very hungry frogs ((my coworkers now call me Cricket because I went to the pet store before work to buy them and they wouldn't stop chirping....They also call me Princess, because I'm always cold, and apparently that makes me 'delicate'))
