It's been good so far! I remember sitting back and watching the the very first few episodes with my best friend.
Recently though I've been quite disappointing with the story lines. I just found the whole Clara scenario was really washed out and not at all satisfying, nothing to compare to the last few years :\

Never the less I'm excited as always to see where the series will go next.

I'm personally quite excited for the new doctor and I'm looking forward to see what sort of a time lord he'll be.
I'm also sitting here thinking, in direct response to you Maine, how my sister won't stop talking about how Steven Moffat is intentionally killing off the series.

In regards to favourite/least favourite episodes, I've not watch the original series, only the modernised one, though I don't have any favourite episodes that stick out in particular, other than the christmas special The Runaway Bride with David Tennant and Catherine Tate and how the series that followed with her has the assistant had to have been the funniest and most fun to watch.
