Damn... after all this time, I'm going back and playing Twilight Princess again. The only Zelda title I've only played once.

What are your experiences with the Zelda franchise?

I grew up with Zelda and have been playing it all my life. As far as I recall, either Majora's Mask or Ocarina of Time was the first console game I ever played. I've played almost all of them, and most of them multiple times.

I love Zelda. :P

I think my favorite will always be Majora's Mask. But it's really hard to choose between many of the games. I just loved being able to use the different masks for different abilities and situations.

First I ever played was the original LoZ on the NES.
Then finally owned Oracle of Seasons & Ocarina of Time back in the day.

Still have my Triforce Twilight Princess messenger bag for classes...

I'd been playing Zelda since the first one since I was about 3 or 4. Even got to dabble with the CDI versions though they didn't keep me playing very long. The one I've put the most amount of hours into though would definitely be Majora's Mask. I love it more than I do Ocarina of Time, though Ocarina is definitely my second favorite console one, followed by A Link to the Past, then Wind Waker. I haven't got to play much of Skyward Sword, though I'm slowly getting to it.

Handheld wise I've played all but Spirit Tracks, and Oracle of Ages would have to be my favorite one on there.

Jeez getting into this :P

I've tried playing Majoras mask too many times. I've even got the N64 next to me with the gold cartridge in it. However it just doesn't captivate me.
Wind Waker is my favourite and I think Twilight princess may be following up somewhere. Skyward Sword does nothing for me and the DS titles can take a hike thank you very much.
OoT is great though losing it for me. A classic game but getting a bit old though I may give the 3DS remake a spin if and when I can.

the 2D titles have always been among my favourites. THough I technically started with OoT, Oracle of Time and Seasons were what got me into it. Link to the past was amazing but worn off the novelty for me like with OoT. Minish Cap was also great and I'm not looking to forward to Link to the Past 2.

Lol I'm picky

Wind Waker wasn't too bad, but the cartoon-esque animation threw me off for a while. Majora's Mask won me over mostly because of its dark storyline and kind of unique gameplay.

I mean, seriously.

As for replay value---still Seasons. Have it in my old GBC somewhere.

There are actually a few different timelines, sort of. It's complicated, and it's easier to show you the diagram than to explain it.

Thx zephyr and for ds hand helds,NO! I'm srry but I tried and the only one that's really grasped my attention and was really fun was OoT 3D,I don't know why but the ds hand helds didn't amuse me or interest me like wind waker or Minish cap,I'm a oldie even though I'm like 17 I played up to twilight princess and stop(because to broke and stubborn to buy skyward sword) but other than the ds games,I loooooove LoZ. If anyone wants to have a LoZ chat I'm your fur,but not argument I hate fighting and arguing :.(,but love zelda :).

Hmm, not sure if I should revive this thread again but it doesn't seem to be that old lol.
Some things I grew up with was Pokemon and Legend of Zelda. I love Twilight Princes the most, it just has such an amazing atmosphere and the overall story is really nice. It's just so different from the rest of the games. It just really stuck with me :) I can go on forever to talk about Twilight Princess but I'm just gonna wait till someone replies. :p
