A Ruby Sword


I wonder what a sword made from a mineral/precious gem would be like.
I imagine it would be very heavy, but depending on the material, potentially very sharp.
Ancient weapons were made with pieces of flint which can be chipped into small pieces with edges sharper and more uniform than a scalpel blade.

A whip. Hrm... I can't say it's the oddest one but it definitely would give a fair amount of reach. And no, I wasn't playing Indiana Jones or Castlevania, I'll let you guess on what game though.
