The square root of 9 is indeed 3, (I said square root, not cube root, the cube root of 27 is indeed 3 as you said it)

The TRICK is that I said 3! (the sneaky exclamation mark means factorial). 3! = 3 x 2 x 1, which is 6.

So I was actually saying the square root of 9 is 6, which it isn't.

So again correct, for the wrong reason though

Factorials are pretty easy to know. The best thing i can show you is through example

1! = 1
2! = 2 x 1 = 2
3! = 3 x 2 x 1 = 6
4! = 4 x 3 x 2 x 1 = 24

Essentially you multiply all the natural numbers below and including the number with the factorial. So 26! would be multiplying 26 and all whole numbers below 26 together (until you get to 1).

For some reason 0! = 1 (don't ask)

It's also possible to do factorials of fractions and negative numbers, but then different rules apply and it's very complicated (known as the Zeta-function)

Well this is what I know it as, and guess what! IT'S MATHEMATICS

∃ is a letter in either latin or greek, but it in mathematics it's used to donate "There Exists", for example


∃x∈R; x > 0

This translates to there exists an x belonging to real numbers where x is greater than 0

(Could also be said as There Exists a real number "x" where x is greater than 0. the ∈ means "belongs to" "is a subset of)

Yes ∃ is the existential quantifier in prop logic, but what about ∃!  that old ! makes everything weird and in this case is used to make truth claims about possible worlds.
