Would it be acceptable for the administration to replace 7's exoskeleton with titanium to make him look a bit like this?

Keep in mind the Subjects will be doing what they can to blend in with the rest of society here in the near future. Three's wings can be explained through having an avian parent, even if it would be somewhat of a stretch, it has been known to happen like that on rare occasion. I'm not sure how one would explain away a titanium exoskeleton...

He could disguise as a robot. Surely if we have the technology to biogeneticly engineer people, we have near sentient robots.
However if it will be a problem then it doesn't have to happen.

The sort of things being done to the Subjects are not exemplary of the rest of the world because they are using highly controversial methods and the absolute apex of experimental technology that hasn't filtered down to the rest of society at this point.  Outside the facility, technology is more akin to the year 2000.  Computer technology is on the verge of really taking off and world-wide networking is moving away from phone-lines.  The scenery itself is still heavily influenced by 1950s styles.

So that said, I think I'm going to have to deny the titanium exoskeleton.  I feel it would be difficult including it into the world outside of the facility.

He could do it if he would become one of the hacking units... But being a hercule that has titanium would make him less strong I think. :s
 
He could have his weapons be reinforced from within to prevent them being crushed. But then again you are already almost invinsible to damage from outside.

Actually, Titanium is a very strong light weight metal. It would not make him weaker. But as Isoke said, the only reason I'm not doing it is because it would be akward once we escaped the facility.
