@ Fitz & Alex - Sorry to intervene with that scene, but the guards underwent a group berating the previous night as a result of their increasing malicious violence against the Subjects. As I mentioned in an OOC post a while back, the doctors may turn a blind eye to the occasional rougher handling of a Subject, but outright violence that leaves lingering injuries that could interfere with their testing of the Subjects is a huge problem. So naturally, a doctor seeing the abuse occurring again would intervene before it has a chance to go too far. Plus, the guard should have been using rubber bullets or tranquilizers, but certainly not live rounds.
