Winchester Large Bowie Knife? So far it have been good, its a cheap knife, but it have not broken down on me yet. It was my first real knife, and I still use it

I only have one, and I don't have any pictures of it. Its very old, and very worn out. But still a nice knife nonetheless.

Ah, I see! So it's more of an old school Buck knife. Very nice; I've always thought those ones were quite classy. Where did you get it?

It's actually been handed down to me.


The one I have is a lot more rigid looking with cosmetic wear and tear.

I can't right now though, it creeps my mom out when I buy knives 


Even though I'm a young adult and purchasing knives is always for collection for me.

Hmmm, why does it creep her out? Does she see them as dangerous? Or does she think they're exclusively weapons, rather than tools?

She see's them as nothing more than weapons.


But she thinks a kitchen knife is harmless

Yeah, that's a common misconception. Maybe talk to her about it, emphasizing that they're tools. Like kitchen knives, they have a specific purpose. Folding knives especially are just used for everyday tasks; cutting packaging, cord, rope, etc. But they're certainly not for killing. In fact, the majority of stabbings that occur with knives are done with kitchen knives, honestly.
