Seagulls also scare me, they can get quite nasty when you have food and often gang up on you too. Well the ones in Plymouth do.

I'm afraid of the rope snapping and it falling while I'm in it. I'd rather stick to stairs. It's healthier that way too!

Fear not! For even if the rope snaps there is a special mechanism that instantly triggers known as a safety break that quickly stops the elevator from free falling. Elevators are the single safest way of travel (airplanes being the second) and out of all the service of elevators there's only been one injury due to an elevator free falling, this occured when a plane crashed into the Empire State building in 1945, the elevator freefell and injured, but did not kill, it's sole occupant. Every year 30 people die from elevators, a vast majority of these people are elevator maintenance that fall down the elevator shaft (rather than getting killed by the elevator). Compare this with the 24,000 people a year who die by lightning strikes!

I'm always scared of how people are gonna react on something I do or say, that's what makes me shy. In France, whoever is different gets treated like muck or teesed. I'm different from the way I speak sometimes. French teenagers think it's fun when someone struggles speaks with a funny canadian french accent like I do sometimes when I speak french. I'm not scared about how I look like, the clothes I wear.
Small anecdote: I'm the only person in the school that wears blue clothes, everyone is dressed in black or grey in my school 'cause they say it's "cool". I hate to be like everybody else, I prefer to be original, my own self.
What scares me (from bad experiences) is my way I express myself, how people are gonna see me if I talk about this or that.
I stress when I speak to strangers or menacing people, I hate it.
