I thought I was alone!

Hi everyone!

The furry fandom is very new to me.  Although I've always loved anthro animals, animation, costumes and D&D I never knew these things could combine so well within such a diverse community!

My owner is Beatrix and sometimes she's called Trixsie (like me!) but I only call her Beatrix to avoid confusion.  We actually have lots in common including our birthday!

This is my first step into a new world so be nice to me please!  I had a look at Fur Affinity Forums but it was a bit scary for a kit D=

I like to write music and do a little drawing.  I love creative writing and poetry!  I love science too even though my maths is not great.

I invite any advice for newbies, there seem to be some dark corners of the fandom that I shouldn't wander into unprepared...

Let me start by saying that this is not a place to fear! I am some what new to this scene myself and I can say that the furs on this site are extremely friendly. I have made many friends and even met my wonderful mate on this site. So have no fear. Other then that this is also a great place for people who are creative like you. You say you have written your own music, I will say that is something that is really cool and something that I wish I was better at myself. Overall I hope you enjoy it here and hope you find what you are looking for!
Also if you ever need anything from advice or just want to talk, there are plenty of furs that will be happy to help, including me, so just ask.

Thanks! I'm so glad to hear you say that.  I think this fandom might have just the right place for me to fit in.  So that will be fun to find!

Yes, I love to write music and play piano!  Even when I don't have an instrument I like to make up new lyrics to songs for fun.

If this is your first furry community, you're off to a great start!  Honestly, the folks here are great. For one example, (though there are many) FrankLemonheart drew this adorable icon for me without even asking for anything in return! (no, I do not actually wear sweaters like that. I always wear a t-shirt.)

Anyway, I'm sure you'll enjoy whatever time you choose to spend here.

Dawww! Thanks, I'm a shift worker so weird nocturnal hours.

I can't wait to try out the RP area, I have a strong background in D&D and tabletop gaming and have not been very successful trying it in virtual space.  I am keen to see how the issues have been overcome.  Once I've landed on my paws at least!

Couldn't sleep today, I just HAD to draw.  All Ihat nearby was 5 coloured pens and a sad brown pencil.  Just left a space for the head.  Faces are HARD

Bubbly!  I like the sound of that FluorescentVulpes.  I do love to run and play!  I was certainly bubbly last night: champers in the hot tub!  My owner dried me off so vigorously I looked like a fluffy dandelion!  Then she let me help unwrap some parcels I LURV bubblewrap!!

I will have to post my unfinished picture and see if anyone can give me ideas for finishing off the head.  Is that something to post here or should I start a new thread? 

Do you have a nickname TFV?  Your full name seems so formal for such a spritely, amiable guy.

Silly champagne, Beatrix says I may only have a little because I splash too much!  I;m having trouble getting my bib tuft dry but it SMELLS like a party!

Think I'd better have a run to clear my head before the sun gets too hot...

 now that i think of it, TheGlowingFox can sound weird.Try and find one for me, huh?
If you are going to put your drawing somewhere go to Artistic stuff>Artwork>Unfinished picture thread. start a new one there.
