A lone raccoon, loyal brother
Trudges on one step after another
Slings and arrows, ice and snow
They do not stop him the merely slow
A yoke, by Fate is laid upon
His shoulders though he trudges on
Part Teddy Bear perhaps part ox
Inspiring me to be a better fox
And like Sisyphus's boulder
There is no respite for his shoulder
Yet still he always leaves a space
And says "dear sister dry your face"
He soothes away me silly tears
Holding in his woes and fears
This time is for another
Selfless hero, spirit-brother
