Hello og.
Your drawing is a bit discordant in the colour scheme and the line art so it's hard to say about the character design. I like your choice in earth-like colours, however I'd break the green and blue away from each other by a gradient or solid bold line (black lines always provide nice contrast). It's up to you, however. Besides that you're fine, though, I see you're perhaps not too experienced in drawing (neither am I). Try doing a quick google for free line art for making furry characters and colouring it in, this will help us give better views on your fursona (it's not always easy to criticise the art of someone just starting out). The colour scheme (besides species and % feral/human in an anthropomorphic being) is often the most important thing to focus on with fursonas and it's generally up to an artist you commission to determine the actual form of the character. Also, since your fursona isn't drawn in a very familiar art style such as manga so we can't really compare your fursona to other furry characters drawn in the same style. However, always remember your fursona's design is entirely up to you and that's why it's called a "furry persona", it's all personal preference. Since you're asking opinion I'd like to just say that art is highly subjective and opinion-based and dependent on people's school of thought - don't let anyone tell you any different (unless their criticism is constructive in an academic sense). Just make your fursona how you want it to be and stick with it and be the one that makes it "yourself" among others in time if you so wish :3

That's ok, with practice you'll get better if you wish.
Reading certain character art tutorial books will also help you designing caricatures - even ones on humans help by giving you tips and you can adjust your character look to the methods you learn with practice (after all an anthro is a "human" like character).

Drawing is in no way mandatory in the furry fandom if you don't want to do it, I've heard most people say they can't draw/design too well and whenever they draw they attempt to draw purely just to get their ideas across as good as they can. So don't worry about that. Just enjoy yourself and do what you want in terms of creative furry expression.

Video game design sounds fun, by the way :3
