What's your top 3 favorite things about being a furry?

3. I love the creative expression found in a lot of fursonas and character's people design and come up with. It makes me want to develop a cartoon series with a lot of them xD my love for animation has a lot to do with my appeal for the fandom to begin with.

2. You can be as weird as you want and immortalizes a sense of playful activity normally seen as being childish or immature.

1. I get to pretend to be something I'm not and can live vicariously through a fictional lifestyle I've created based off a real one. Things in real life become irrelevant for a short time while I visit a more colorful and interactive world full of individuals who like doing the same.

I hope that didn't come off strange but it's the truth. Real life isn't fun.

1. Fursuiting! There's so many cute characters and concepts and aaaa I love to see them come to life!


2. The fact that furry is becoming less about "weird people in animal costumes" and is becoming more art and young people centered. While it used to be kinda creepy and filled with weirdos, the fact that teenagers are joining the fandom are pushing all that out and making it more like an alternative style. tl;dr: furries are becoming a mainstream alternative style and that's really cool!


3. Finding other people as passionate as me about issues, making friends, and falling in love. I met my fiancee at a con and my girlfriend on a forum like this and it's been amazing.

Hmmm... favorite things?

Well I'm always telling others about how kind, loving, and cuddly ferries are so that's gotta be number one. I love all the hugs and soft fur and being open!

I can express my... individuality, uniqueness, and weird side in this community unlike any other. People here support that instead of discriminate against it!

And a third... well that's the support. The will to keep going, because being a furry in today's world is really really hard and that put on top of life alone makes it almost impossible, however the support by this community is overwhelming and I'm not even known by more then 3 furries. No other fan dom out there makes each and every member feel special and loved in this way.
