Young Mind, By: Me

The smiles are invinting,
the laughter so exiting.
The proposition of education.
Is exhilarating.
But deep underneath these thin walls.
Lies a darker purpose to,
these darkened halls.
You've come accustomed to.

It all starts off with a, young mind.

At the somber age of seven,
the children go to school.
To learn obedience.
As the years progress and the meds take effect.
We can begin teaching basic skills.

A lone wolf,

fighting for his life.

no idea ,

how to survive.

He howls to the sky,

searching for a reason why.

But all he hears are echoes and

empty winds upon the sand.

As he looks up and cries,

will anyone care, when he dies.


He cries for you, he would’ve died for you.

But you don’t seem to care,

now that he’s dying he’s losing faith that

you were ever there.

He wishes that you would have stayed ,

he wishes that you loved him back.

But now that he’s alone again there’s just no turning back.
