Poor mans recipes
« on: February 25, 2014, 04:13:14 AM »
This is a recipe for poor mans steak.
First, go to the grocery store. Buy the cheapest steak you can find ~$4, buy no name or other bargain tomato juice.
Go home.
Marinade the steak in the tomato juice for 1 half day.
Now, take the steak and tenderize it. Beat it like you hate it with a meat mallet. If you do not have one a framing hammer or the blunt end of a hachet will work, whith these you should be more gentle.
Now, sprinkle (pour) salt and pepper on to the steak, place on bar-b-que at medium heat.
After ~5 minutes repeat.
You are done!

Yum, slightly deformed tomato flavoured steak!
(I actually enjoy this more then a $15 steak)
(And I was joking about the hachet)

Tang balls
« Reply #2 on: March 03, 2014, 04:14:50 AM »
Now this one is weird.
What you need is white bread and tang.
Put a decent amount of tang powder in the centre of a slice of white bread.
Role the bread with your hands until you have orange doey ball things.

Garnish by swallowing culinary pride and you are done!

These tast pretty good however I'd still rather French toast.

Cheese toasters!

Required items:
Bread
Cheese
Toaster
Microwave

Simply toast the bread to your desired setting, and as soon as it is done toasting put it on a plate, slap some cheese on it, and then nuke it for 20 seconds. I'm sure there are better ways to do this that require an oven, but this is how I do it!

Egg in a basket!

This is a great recipe for breakfast. ^_^

Ingredients:

1 slice of bread

1 egg

Butter/margarine

Optional: Olive/vegetable oil, salt/pepper/other seasonings

Steps:

1. Heat a frying pan over medium heat, using a little butter/margarine or olive/vegetable oil to grease it.

2. Cut a hole in the center of your slice of bread a few centimeters in diameter.

3. Consume the small piece of bread that you've just cut out of the center of the slice.

4. Butter both sides of the bread and place it in the frying pan.

5. Crack the egg into the hole in the bread. Some of it will rest in the hole, while most of it sits atop the slice of bread.

6. Wait for the egg to start turning white/bubbling up through the center of the bread. When it does, flip the egg and bread over to the other side.

7. When the egg starts bubbling up through the hole again, flip it again to see if it's done on the other side. Repeat if necessary (although if done correctly, it shouldn't require any more flipping).

8. Season as you desire, and eat with either your paws or a fork/knife! I usually like mine to still have a nice, runny yolk, so in that case, a fork/knife might be a little less messy. XD

9. Congratulate yourself on successfully cooking something for your own consumption!

NUKE EM EGGS!

1.  Take 1 or 2 eggs, break into mug.
2.  remove all pieces of shell
3.  add cheese
4.  put plastic rap over top of mug
5.  nuke until the plastic rap gets sucked down into the mug (3/4 inch from eggs)
6.  remove plastic
7.  now eat plastic laden eggs!

I do not think the plastic rap affects the eggs im just Bull Crapin'!

Cheese ramen!

You need 5 things for this one.
1. Ramen noodles
2. Imitation KD
3. A pot
4. Water
5. Heat source

Make the ramen noodles normally.
Boil water on some sort of heat source, this could be a blow torch or the muffler on a Cadillac escalade. Add your noodles and let soften. Once your noodles are cooked remove the water and add the Mac'n'cheese cheese. Save macaroni just in case you don't like the cheese ramen.
Now fold the box from the KD into a spoon as you probably forgot your spork today.

Garnish with some ramen seasoning and enjoy!
