I usually keep a pocketknife on my bedside table.
No idea for what reason tho, if someone really wanted to hurt me they'd be able to do so no matter what, since there's no way I'd be able to defend myself anyway xP

I guess the best I could do would be to get some pepper spray or something.
Still illegal-ish, but at the very least it'd be less bad to get caught with that than to get caught with a gun.
Because guns and stuff are illegal and stuff here.

And pepper spray depends on where you are to whether it would be legal or not

Yeah its legal where I am. Technically, its legal in all 50 states, but there are different restrictions.
Technically, I could use any spray for self defended where I live.
