Heavy Metal Furs?

I guess I'm a metal head, but I like punk a little more (just depends I guess) 

I mean I listen stuff like Metallica (1983-1991), Slayer (1983-1990), some NWOBHM bands, Havok, Exciter, early Iron Maiden, Candlemass, Judas Priest, some Overkill, Black Sabbath (if you consider it metal), and various 80's thrash/ heavy/ speed metal bands.

I really don't like any of the new stuff (there are exceptions). I don't know, I just like how raw some of the old stuff sounds. Another genre of metal I don't care for is like death and black metal. The instrumental part of it is awesome, but the vocals ruin it for me.

Those are often the best, do you like Cirith Ungol or Witchfinder General?
