I guess I'm a metal head, but I like punk a little more (just depends I guess) I mean I listen stuff like Metallica (1983-1991), Slayer (1983-1990), some NWOBHM bands, Havok, Exciter, early Iron Maiden, Candlemass, Judas Priest, some Overkill, Black Sabbath (if you consider it metal), and various 80's thrash/ heavy/ speed metal bands. I really don't like any of the new stuff (there are exceptions). I don't know, I just like how raw some of the old stuff sounds. Another genre of metal I don't care for is like death and black metal. The instrumental part of it is awesome, but the vocals ruin it for me.
I've never really listened to them, but I just looked up Witchfinder General and I have to say: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a50XCuyfpGI
I think I found a new favorite. Thank you SirSteel \m/

Well here's some: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ca2EszjyjVw I discovered them a few minutes ago, and I'm already hooked. I've listened to Heavy Load off and on for a few years, and they're really cool. I really love the lyrics for Might for Right: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWfcz-JZaCo They just really speak to me.
