Anyone excited for Amon Amarth's new album? 

They're playing in my city in a couple months. I want to go, and I'm considering asking a friend if they want to see them too since I don't feel like going alone ^^'

Metal has been one of my favorite genres ever since I was but a teen. Starting with Metallica, moving to Power Metal like Dragonforce, Hammerfall, and Rhapsody of Fire. I later started listening to bands like Demon Hunter, Five Finger Death Punch, All that Remains, As I Lay Dying, 36 Crazyfists, Lamb Of God, DevilDriver, Gojira, In Flames, Rammstein, Static-X, Stone Sour, System of a Down, Thornley, Trivium, etc. And finally nowadays Opeth, Tool, and Mindless Self Indulgence were added to the list. There are even more bands that I listen to, of course, but for brevity (perhaps not so brief), I picked some of my faves of the faves. As for a favorite band, it's a really hard choice, but I think Lamb Of God edges out in the Metal category. But if we redefine Stone Sour to Hard Rock, then they are absolutely my favorite of that genre.

I first started lisoning to metalica back in 2009. Then i whent to hard rock for a while like papa roach then in 2013 i found my passon again thanks to thiese bands.The metal that I like are funeral doom metal, deathcore,metelcore, black metal and post-hardcore and electriccore.

I'm more of metalcore fan than anything! Motionless In White, Bullet For My Valentine, Rise to Remain, Cancer Bats, Rammstein, and AxeWound are just a small hand full of bands I like! I've seen Motionless In White and Cancer Bats in concert, as well as many others, and I must say Cancer Bats are amazing live!

An old coworker of mine and I loved music from Dragonforce, but he went to see them live, and he said it was actually pretty painful to listen to those guys try to keep time with each other.  I've never actually gone to a concert before.


Love Metallica, Godsmack, Dragonforce, Van Canto (who else knows about these guys?), Korn, pretty much anything that can blow the speakers out of my truck!

Love these guys. Arguably my favourite metal bands would have to be Metallica, Týr, and Therion.

Started when I was like 5/6 years old with Gun N Roses and moved on to Iron Maiden, Megadeth and Metallica.  Over the years, I love Helloween and Axxis and such.  I love my black metal too, Cradle Of Filth, Dimmu Borgir, Dark Fortress etc.  Some of my all time faves are Devin Townsend, Pitchshifter, Primus and of course, my all time fave, Buckethead
